Context
Content Studio is a suite of tools designed to automate, control, and track audiovisual productions. The Finance team, one of the main internal users, needed better visibility into key project data.
Goals
Integrate the financial dashboard into Content Studio.
Enable early warnings through visual indicators and notifications.
Improve the Finance team's efficiency in detecting and tracking issues.
Problem
Financial data had to be exported from our platform to an external tool to generate dashboards. This process was manual and lacked any alert mechanisms, making it hard to detect budget deviations early and creating friction in decision-making.

The need for manual exports to external tools was eliminated.
Early detection of budget issues
The new dashboard enabled early identification of team members who exceeded or underused their budgeted time, as well as budgeting mismatches.

Identified issues were regularly reviewed during weekly production meetings.
